Why Allociao
Putting an end to cold calls, simply — without creating an account, handing over your data, or fighting your own phone.
A simple problem, badly solved
Millions of unwanted calls go out every day: home energy, insurance, fake customer service. The numbers behind these cold calls are widely known — it was just too tedious, for the average person, to do anything about them.
Allociao turns that into an instant, silent, local filter. No server listening to your calls. No subscription. No account to create. You pick up, you see it's spam — and you hang up. Ciao.
The name and the mascot
Hello… goodbye! That's the image we were after: the phone that picks up, recognises the number in a split second, and closes the line before you even have to step in. A polite but unmistakable gesture.
The mascot — a little smiling phone waving hello — captures that tone: light, never aggressive, but effective. Cold calling is annoying; the app doesn't need to be too.
What sets us apart
You stay in control
No blind blocking. Three levels — Blocked, Suspect, Allowed — and the Suspect level alerts you without hanging up: you never miss a real call. Your contacts are never filtered.
The strength of the community
You report the unwanted ones — but you can also mark a number "legitimate". That positive signal, rare elsewhere, cuts false positives and protects everyone.
Honest and respectful
Free, no ads, no account. Filtering happens on your phone and reports are anonymous. No dark patterns, no funny business.
Easy on your battery
No service running constantly: Allociao wakes up for each call, checks in a few milliseconds, then goes back to sleep. The impact on your battery is negligible.
Made in France, on solid foundations
Allociao is developed in France. Blocking draws on a large database of unwanted numbers, built from official number ranges and enriched by community reports — not a list bought from a third party, no opaque algorithm doing the guessing.
We're a young app. We don't have thousands of users to show off, no press awards. What we do have is an honest product that does what it says, and that we keep improving. See the roadmap.
