Three levels, you decide

Allociao doesn't block everything blindly. Each call is sorted by what's known about it, and you stay in control at every step.

Blocked

Number identified as a cold call: we hang up automatically.

Suspect

Dodgy profile but not certain: we warn you, you choose.

Allowed

Your contacts, your allowed numbers and unknown callers: their calls come through normally.

Blocked — what happens

A number is classed "Blocked" when it falls within known unwanted-number ranges set aside for cold calling, or within the spam VoIP ranges you've chosen to turn on. These numbers will never ring: Allociao hangs up before your phone even vibrates.

You can review the list of blocked calls in the app. If a number was blocked by mistake — which can happen, even though the ranges are precise — you can allow it in one tap. It'll be added automatically to your personal allow list and will always come through from then on.

You can also manually block any number, whether it's in a known range or not. Handy for a number that called you once and that you never want to hear from again.

Suspect — what happens

A number is classed "Suspect" when it looks like a cold call without being a sure thing. For example, it belongs to a VoIP operator range often used for spam (set to "Warn me" by default), or it has been flagged by the community without reaching the blocking threshold. You can also mark a number "Suspect" yourself.

In that case, Allociao lets the call ring but warns you: if you've allowed it to show over the call screen, a small "Possible cold call" badge appears while it rings; otherwise, you get a notification you can find after the call. Up to you to answer, ignore or block. The choice is yours.

Allowed — what happens

Your contacts are never filtered. A number you move to "Allowed" joins your allow list and will always ring, even if it appears in a block list. An "unknown" number — never seen before — also comes through normally, with no intervention.

After a call, from the Calls tab, you can change a number's status (Allowed / Suspect / Blocked) and report it — including as "legitimate" if it's fine, to help the community avoid false positives.

Check the Report a number page to understand how it works and what gets sent.
