The ground rules between you and Allociao — in plain language.
Purpose
Allociao is an Android call-filtering app. It checks every incoming call against a list of cold-call numbers and, if the number is on it, hangs up automatically before the phone rings. These terms of use govern use of the app and of the allociao.com website.
Free of charge
Allociao is free, with no subscription and no in-app purchases. No feature is reserved for a paid version. The publisher reserves the right to change this model; should that happen, users will be informed before any change.
"Best effort" operation
Filtering relies on official number ranges and community reports. This list isn't exhaustive: some unwanted calls may get through, and conversely a legitimate number may be blocked by mistake (a false positive). Allociao does not guarantee blocking of 100% of unwanted calls. In the event of a false positive, you can allow the number manually in the app.
Reports
When you choose to report a number, you affirm that the call seemed unwanted or fraudulent to you and that you're acting in good faith. Abusive reports — for instance, deliberately reporting a legitimate number to harm its owner — are prohibited and may lead to the associated anonymous account being disabled. Allociao reserves the right not to add a report to the block list if it doesn't meet the reliability criteria in use.
Limited liability
Allociao is provided "as is". The publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from a call that wasn't blocked or a legitimate call blocked by mistake. Use of the app is at the user's discretion.
Intellectual property
The Allociao app, its code, its interface and its brand are protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorised reproduction, modification or distribution is prohibited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute and failing an amicable resolution, the French courts have sole jurisdiction.
Changes to the terms
These terms may be changed at any time. The version in force is always available on this page. In the event of a substantial change, users will be informed when they open the app. Continuing to use Allociao after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
